North Bruce

A short midweek trip to the Port Elgin area produced some good birds one of which was a lifer for me! on Wednesday afternoon at around 2. 30 I was at the Ducks Unlimited marsh at the south west end of McGregor Provincial Park when a Golden Eagle alighted on one of the many dead trees in the wetlands, it sat for a few minutes and left as quickly as it had arrived, a great first time look at a huge hawk.
